Abstract

The objective of this research proposal is to design a methodological proposal for adventure tourism and natural regeneration strategies with an environmental and collaborative perspective in Florencia - Caquetá. Achieving it contemplates a constructivist and qualitative methodology, which, from the application of information gathering techniques (documentary review and interview), allowed assuming a descriptive character of the perceptions and realities about adventure tourism activities, and their relationship with the economic, social and environmental development at a general level and in the territory under study.
The aforementioned, has to support what is theoretically exposed on the current environmental crisis caused by the economic growth in the territories. This demands a rethinking of society’s actions towards nature, a statement based on environmental complexity, a component that perceives with certainty the relationship between human beings and their environment.
The research process emphasizes the need to generate improvements in infrastructure, regulation, and educational processes; aspects oriented to promote environmental awareness and social development. Indicating that the latter requires education, training and sensitization together with collaborative actions.
Therefore, the methodological proposal proposes key objectives and lines of action, based on the characteristics and needs of the territory. Its structure is based on the phases of an action plan, called “learning plan”. In short, the schematic and methodological guide remains to be adapted to tourism development implementation contexts.
